RECONSTRUCTION
This particular apartment is two-spaced and has a bedroom with 1 double bed, a common area with 1 semi-double and a single bed, a bathroom and kitchen with dining area and can accommodate 4 people. Outside there is a large terrace with shade and a view of the Aegean.
It is one of the oldest houses in Donoussa, built in 1869 with Amorgian architecture (small windows with arches).
It was the home of my great-grandfather Nikolas Prasinos (Malliaros) and his wife Sofia and stopped living in the 1970s.
This house was renovated in 2019 keeping the stone frame and highlighting the traditional architecture of the house.
The building materials used for the renovation were chosen with great care and personal work as some of the wood that decorates the roof is over 150 years old.
